“The MBA program is open to applicants from a variety of educational backgrounds, and its graduates will have a competitive edge when applying for management positions in business administration,” said Jamie Jennings, KCC vice president of academic affairs. “This is an excellent opportunity for anyone wanting to advance his or her career.”

The deadline to apply for the program is Sept. 15. Classes start Sept. 25.

An MBA provides students with specialized coursework in areas such as leadership, operations management, and strategic planning.

“A growing economy requires employees and leaders with a variety of backgrounds, and professionals who earn an MBA can greatly contribute to our local business culture,” said KCC President Dr. Roberto Gutierrez. “The MBA program is another pathway for KCC and community businesses to promote a well-trained workforce in Klamath and Lake counties.”

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in business or a related degree (agribusiness, finance, accounting, etc.) from an accredited institution. Applications without this are still encouraged to apply but will be asked to demonstrate competency in 13 core concept areas, including management, marketing, finance, accounting and other core business principles.
