Travel Oregon plans to wrap up its Rural Tourism Studio series with two upcoming workshops in downtown Klamath Falls.

The workshops start at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5 and Wednesday, Dec. 6 at the 9th Street Venue downtown, according to a news release. The workshops will focus on how to assist rural community economies through tourism development and other local resources. Previous workshops were held in Malin and Dorris in the fall.

Communities in the program include Klamath Falls, Bonanza, Chiloquin, Malin, Merrill, Dorris, Tulelake and other Klamath Basin communities. Anyone interested may attend, though local business owners, landowners and community leaders are highly encouraged to participate.

Klamath Falls — Teaming for Impact and Action Planning Workshop. Establish powerful local action teams to bring ideas developed during the program to fruition.

Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Klamath Falls — Community Celebration Event. Participants share their vision of tourism for the region and celebrate program completion.
