KCEDA to Host Upcoming Members Meeting at Oregon Tech’s New Mass Timber Residence Hall
The Klamath County Economic Development Association (KCEDA) will host its next members meeting at Oregon Institute of Technology’s newly constructed residence hall on the Klamath Falls campus. The event will begin at 5:15 p.m., with food and beverages provided for attendees.
The new residence hall represents a major investment in sustainable, innovative construction and student life. The four-story, 86,000+ square-foot facility is designed to house more than 500 students and showcases mass timber construction, a renewable building method that significantly reduces carbon footprint while enhancing the built environment.
Serving as one of the first large-scale mass timber residence halls in Oregon’s higher education system, the project highlights the region’s leadership in sustainable design and advanced building practices.
Construction of the facility was led by Bogatay Construction, Inc., a Klamath Falls-based contractor, reinforcing the strong role of local industry in delivering complex, forward-thinking projects.
KCEDA’s members meeting will provide attendees with the opportunity to experience this landmark project firsthand while connecting with regional leaders, partners, and stakeholders in economic development.
A calendar invite will be sent to KCEDA Members and Partners soon and will give guests the opportunity to RSVP in advance.
